Obviously this is not in chronological order but as the site is new we figured we would provide an update on the Rick. Well after multiple days of the heat gun and a scraping knife we finally got the epoxy off the body, neck and headstock. Of course once we got it off it had stained the maple (yep, it started life as a Maple Glo finish) a nice shade of blue.
Time to get the sander out! We are looking froward to the beautiful maple!
